Broadcast from New York's Mercury Theatre in 1938, this infamous radio play, based on the novel by H. G. Wells, had many terrified listeners convinced that an actual alien invasion of Earth was taking place. Adapted by Howard E. Koch, co-writer of Casablanca, and directed and narrated by Orson Welles, this original script detailing the frightening tale of an extraterrestrial takeover is now available to bring to life onstage to thrill and chill audiences.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Looking for actors 18 years and older. Male and Female

  This will be a staged reading with minimal rehearsing time available, actors must attend all rehearsals. If an actor is unable to attend any rehearsals they will be replaced. Scripts will be in hands, no memorizing required! Props and costumes will be provided by the actors. This is volunteer driven and no pay or financial compensation will be given.
